1. Bhogapuram Airport would be a world class International Airport with one runway, parallel taxiway and other infrastructure capable of servicing world largest aircrafts.
2. Some key facilities planned in the Bhogapuram aerotropolis include
   • aviation-linked manufacturing units,
   • aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility,
   • R&D centre and test laboratories,
   • multi-modal logistics,
   • exhibition and conference centers,

As SPSR Nellore is One of the fastest growing districts in the state. The proposed airport site is located about 30 km North of SPSR Nellore . It is situated on west side of Guntur-Chennai Highway (NH-16).

The Airport will be Nodal point of both the proposed Vizag-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC) and Bengaluru-Chennai Industrial Corridor. The proposed Airport is very close to Krishnapatnam Port, which is one of the fastest growing ports in India. The airport will benficiary to the Sri City, a planned integrated business city.

Orvakal Airport is proposed to be developed by APADCL. Airport is 26 km from Kurnool. Kurnool is the Second largest district in the state with a well-balanced economy - agriculture (36%), manufacturing (18%) and services (46%) . Kurnool is planned to be developed by GoAP as a hub for mineral based industries and food processing. Plans to promote cement, steel and textile industry in the region. Region has great potential for solar & wind energy generation . Kurnool is poised to become a hub for food processing activities. With a long list of popular religious destinations, Kurnool district has been attracting great number of religious tourists.
